KBSA offers Yachtmaster™ candidates an intensive five day Prep Course before taking the exam. You will get to work on your boat handling techniques, pilotage, navigation and man overboard drills. There will also be night sailing to familiarise yourself with the local waters and improve your pilotage skills.

Each candidate will be examined by an external RYA Yachtmaster™ Examiner who will assess your skippering skills, boat handling, navigation, general seamanship, safety awareness and knowledge of the IRPCS, meteorology and signals. The examiner will expect to see the candidate take full responsibility for the management of the yacht and crew.
